Big Sky PK-8 will open for the 2026-2027 school year and will offer both morning and afternoon preschool sessions, Monday through Friday. Exact times will be announced at a later date. Preschool registration will open December 9, 2025, through St. Vrain Valley Schools’ online preschool application. Children must be 3 or 4 years old on or before October 1 of the school year they are enrolling.
Universal Preschool (UPK) Information
Colorado’s Universal Preschool (UPK) program provides free preschool for children who will be four years old on or before October 1 of the school year they are enrolling. Through UPK, families can receive up to 15 hours per week of state-funded preschool. The UPK application is completed separately through the state’s system.
