St. Vrain’s Community Schools provide onsite childcare for preschool children ages three and four, and school age children five to 13. Students can participate in extended learning opportunities through various enrichment classes. Classes offered before and after school reflect the interest of children and families at each location, in addition to the focus and curriculum of the school community. An extensive menu of opportunities is available including; movies, arts and crafts, science-based activities and learning experiences, music and physical activities, community awareness and academic support programs and Robotics.

Instructions for Enrolling in Care
K-8 Before and After School Care
For students five years of age through 6th grade
- Hours: 7am – 6pm
- Registration Fee: Single Child: $50/Family $75
- Tuition: $16 per morning / $20 per afternoon
- Drop In Tuition (less than 48 hours notice): Additional $26 per morning / Additional $30 per afternoon
Wraparound/Pre-K Care
For students three to five years old; no need to be enrolled in Preschool program
- Hours: 7:30am – 5:30pm, closed on non school days
- Registration Fee: Single Child: $50/Family $75
- Tuition: $45 per day with preschool enrollment / $55 per day without preschool enrollment
- 2 Day a Week Minimum Attendance
Enrichment Classes
Our Community Schools program offers additional enrichment opportunities to engage students in focused, extended learning programs. Enrolling is easy – simply watch for information from the Community Schools office. Complete the online registration and pay online. Parents can also fill out the required permission slip and send it in with full payment to your child’s teacher or school office. Classes vary according to interest and site.
Late Start Days
We offer special programming during district late start days (typically the first Wednesday of every month) for child care families. Program managers will share details with care families.
Late start Fees: $30 for each occurrence per child (no matter the drop off time)
Non School Days
Community Schools offers Non School Day care throughout the district. Each year, the list of schools varies however we strive to have a school in Longmont, Erie and Frederick/Firestone area. Information about Non Schools is available from the Program Manager approximately one month before each non school day.
Summer Programming
